Meet Our Founder
Hi, I'm Denise, I've spent fifteen years in the tech and energy sectors helping companies turn technical curiosity into operational capability. Most recently, I helped scale an organization from 40 to 2,000 employees, leading the global rollout of their internal generative AI program.
If my career has taught me anything, it's that the most brilliant technical strategy fails if leaders cannot articulate it. Capability means nothing without clarity.
I like to think of myself as a full-brain thinker. Creativity is my natural state of mind, but I've spent my career training my left-brain technical side to match it. I founded The Desine Co. to solve both sides of this equation for modern leadership teams.
With MBAs from Cornell and Queen's, and a technical MSc from the University of Alberta, I operate exactly where strategy meets execution.
Common questions
The Desine Co. runs two practices. Signal is our executive AI advisory and organizational education for mid-sized companies. Presence is one-on-one executive presentation coaching for leaders requiring presentation review and delivery in English. Both are led by Denise.
If AI is not producing results in your organization, you require our Signal offering. If you have to present something important and want it to land, that is our Presence offering. They are separate services.
Across Canada and the United States, and internationally for coaching clients. Most work can be delivered online. In-person is available.
We work with executives and leaders for both AI advisory and presentation coaching. We support multilingual leaders and global executives navigating English as an additional language.
